Activities for Children and Young People
Why is physical activity important for children and young people?

For children/young people between the ages of 5 and 18, the recommended amount of moderate to vigorous physical activity per day is 60 minutes.
This can include many different activities and has countless benefits to a child's health, including:
- developing social skills
- improving cardiovascular health
- improving bone health
- maintaining a healthy weight
- improving self-confidence
- improving concentration
Take a look at the activities on offer below to help you/your child achieve the target and stay physically active.
