What is Hit the Street?
Want to try a new sport/physical activity or get back into it? Want to get fitter, meet new people and have fun at the same time?If you are between 14 and 25 (male or female) get active by 'hitting the street'!
Hit the Street is a three year project run by Charnwood Borough Council, as part of our Community Sport Activation Fund. The project aims to encourage more people to take up sport and complete at least 30 mins of exercise through regular free or low cost, informal sport sessions in local communities around Loughborough, Syston and Thurmaston. Sports on offer range including Multisports, Futsal, Dance, Skateboarding, Boxing (inc Boxercise/Boxfit and more! Everybody is welcome and all equipment is provided. There are also coaching and volunteering opportunities available for both young people and adults.
